These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of JobLitt (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: attempting to gain unauthorised access; uploading malicious content; reverse engineering protected components; scraping at volumes that interfere with normal operation; or using the Service to harass, defame, or violate the rights of others.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (resumes, preferences, generated artefacts). You grant JobLitt a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your content with third parties for marketing, advertising, or independent use. See our Privacy Policy and Data Policy for details on how we handle your data.

4. AI-generated output

The Service uses large language models to draft strategies, cover letters, and resume enhancements. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated material before relying on or sending it. JobLitt makes no warranty that AI output is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By upgrading, you authorise recurring charges according to your selected plan until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users. You may delete your account at any time; deletion removes your resume, preferences, and generated artefacts on the schedule described in our Data Policy.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobLitt disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of your use of the Service.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email to your registered address. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
