Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information. Email address, name (if provided via Google sign-in), and authentication tokens.
• Resume and preferences. Files you upload, the text extracted from them, and the job search preferences you set.
• Generated artefacts. Strategies, cover letters, enhanced resumes, and outreach drafts produced by the Service on your behalf.
• Usage and logs. Request metadata (timestamps, endpoint paths, error states) and minimal analytics needed to keep the Service running.
• Billing data. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We store a customer reference and subscription status; we do not store card numbers.

How we use it

We use your data only to:

• provide and improve the Service you signed up for;
• match jobs and generate AI-assisted artefacts you request;
• send transactional emails (e.g. login codes, billing receipts); and
• detect abuse and protect the Service.

We do not use your resume, generated artefacts, or personal information for advertising, profiling, or to train external AI models.

No third-party sharing for marketing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing, advertising, or independent use. The only third parties that receive data are operational service providers we use to run the Service (for example: cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and AI model inference). These providers act on our instructions, are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and may only use your data to deliver the service we have contracted them for.

Cookies and local storage

We use a small number of cookies and local-storage entries required for authentication and basic session state. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS for data in transit, encrypted storage at rest, scoped per-user access controls, and secrets management for API keys. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to notify us promptly of any suspected compromise.

Your rights

You may, at any time:

• access or export the data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate information by updating your profile;
• delete your account, which removes your stored content; and
• contact us with privacy questions or complaints.

Children

The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
